1. Background and Context<\/p>\n
Panchtara Yuwa Samrashak Manch (PTYSM), Jajarkot is implementing HATTEMALO for child well-being and Integrated Development Project with partnership WVI Nepal. The project is implementing in different district (Jajarkot, Achham, Kailali, Kanchanpur and Dailekh) using different project model, such as PROTECT, PROTECT-CP and Sponsorship Operating Plan (SOP). Empowering children and Adolescent and communities to be resilient in building protective environment at communities. This will be taken into considerations to develop safer, resilient, protective and empowered environment in the community for the children to thrive in their lives.<\/p>\n
This Project also has focused to reach for children and adolescents, which aims to develop adolescent\u2019s skills and help them become social agents for change in their families and communities, while empowering them to realize their rights, idea to protect them-selves and make resilient inside the community. Protective skill session teaches children to take more sensitive, well aware about the issues, reporting and responding mechanism and well aware about self-protecting idea. The adolescents will be trained on the curricula and they will transfer the knowledge to their peers and the groups in the community through a group-based curriculum. one training will be conducted for different adolescents on the Life skills for adolescents after which they will be able to deliver sessions for their peers in their community.<\/p>\n
2. Objectives<\/p>\n
The overall objective of a consultancy to facilitate Training of Trainers (TOT) to selected adolescents as Peer Educators so that they are able to facilitate sessions on the Life and protective\/self-defense to Life skill group on selected module of RUPANTARAN. Specifically, the objective is to:<\/p>\n
The TOT on mentioned module will be completed in 15 days in 2 phase and 1st Phase of the TOT have 10 days and 2nd phase will be 5 days.
\nThe 1st Phase of the TOT will cover at least 7 Module of the RUPANTARAN package while second phase of the TOT will Review of 7 Module and facilitation of remaining module.
\nThe second phase of the TOT will be conducted after rollout of all 7 module in community by the peer educators (Date will be decided after consultation with the project team).
\nThe Peer Educators will be delivering the Life and protective\/self-defense soft skills sessions in their communities.
\nThe TOT is expected to deliver based on the attached ToR.
\nThe training will conduct in different district in Jajarkot, Achham, Kailali, Kanchanpur and Dailekh.
