Pedagogical Resource Person (Education Resource person) &#8211; 1\u00a0<\/b>(Based in Chhedagad Municipality)<\/p>\n<p><b>PURPOSE:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>Pedagogical Resource Person-PRP<\/b>\u00a0is responsible for providing coaching\/mentoring support to early grade teachers including ECCD. The PRP will provide on the spot coaching-mentoring support observing the class to the teachers. The PRP will also facilitate mobile meeting, ten materials, ten skills make effective teaching and learning workshop, Integrated curriculum training and management of coach\/mentor on co-funding basic with municipality, provision of innovation to school, performance-based awards to teachers and schools etc. of Sahayatra II project, in close coordination and collaboration with PTYSM Project Coordinator-Education, program director and as well as SCI project coordinator-education.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibility:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly action plan and progress report should be prepared and submitted to the municipality and supervisors. While developing the monthly action plan, especially in classes ECCD to 3, of at least 8 to 10 schools should be visited in a month to support to the teachers in teaching and learning.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate teachers to develop lesson plan, developing learning materials focusing to Nepali, Mathematics and English<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and ensure schools conducting Classroom Based Early Grade Reading Assessment (CB-EGRA) based on Integrated Curriculum.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and provide support to the teachers on remedial support to the children, Grade teaching, multi-grade teaching, teaching without punishment, Classroom management, and use of curriculum and teacher&#8217;s guide into the classroom.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct the survey in the need of capacity development to the teachers and provide coaching-mentoring support accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and support teachers and parents for the continuation of children&#8217;s learning during the COVID pandemic and in the normal situation through home schooling, school at home, tole education etc.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and support early grade teachers on conducting CAS based on the Integrated Curriculum.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and support teachers on using digital platform on teaching learning process.<\/li>\n<li>Writing and publishing case stories, news stories based on program achievements, good practices problems, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in different capacity building activities in municipality level and out of districts.<\/li>\n<li>Other works related to municipality and Sahyatra project team will have to be done as per requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualification and Experience:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least bachelor&#8217;s degree in education, master&#8217;s degree in education is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Training facilitation skills as well as coaching and mentoring skills<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years of teaching or teacher training facilitation or work related to education<\/li>\n<li>Skills in preparing and using teaching-learning materials<\/li>\n<li>Friendly and helpful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated CV and Cover letter at\u00a0<b><a href=\"https:\/\/gmail.com\/\">panchtara.jajarkot@gmail.com<\/a><\/b>\u00a0addressing to The Human Resource department, PTYSM Jajarkot, or can drop the hard copy of their CV and Cover letter at\u00a0<b>PTYSM District Office, Jajarkot- Khalanga or Field Office Thalaha Chhedagad within 11th July 2022.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Please indicate the position title while applying on the subject of your application.
