At the meantime, PTYSM Jajarkot has been implemented programs/projects for improving and uplifting the livelihood of deprived/marginalized communities (Agricultural and off-farm-based interventions). The following activities and programs are carryout for improving the livelihood of target communities;
- Formation and mobilization of producer groups (Farmer groups)
- Capacity building on production/productivity, groups management, post-harvest handling, etc
- Facilitation in marketing channel buildup with networking market actors (local and outside district) and stakeholders.
- Introduce new technologies like a tunnel for off-seasonal vegetable production, a Polly house for off-seasonal vegetable production for uplifting the income scale from goat farming.
- Formation and mobilization support to Market Management Committees for sold products of farmers.
- Linkage and support to local-level microfinance institutions for access to the small-scale fund at the community level.
- Exposure to representatives of production groups to model sides inside and outside the district for replication of new things in the community.
- Support, facilitating preparation, and implementation of individual and group-level business plans.
- Support, and facilitate to made agreements between production groups and collectors.
- Support to register Farmer groups and entrepreneurship at the local government unit.
